Eskaton Celebrates 100+
Each year Eskaton celebrates the birthdays of dozens of centenarians residing in our communities and participating in our home-based support programs. These extraordinary individual triumphs of longevity also collectively represent Eskaton's healthy, long-life experience, which is 50 times greater than the ratio of people 100 years of age or older in the general population. Eskaton Intergenerational Initiative
Intergenerational programs at Eskaton present opportunities for residents and participants to engage with youth through a variety of activities. Hosting school field trips and mentoring programs, cultivating urban gardens and other environmental projects, and numerous other multi-age living, learning and volunteering experiences intentionally connect older adults and youth. Veterans Appreciation Initiative
Several hundred military veterans reside in Eskaton communities or benefit from the organization’s home-based support. Eskaton currently sponsors a variety of celebrations and activities to honor the contributions of these individuals. The purpose of the Eskaton Veterans Appreciation Initiative is, foremost, to honor and serve our veterans (as they have done for us); and, respectfully, to involve Eskaton as a civic leader in veterans’ affairs and appreciation.

Eskaton Ecology Initiative
The Eskaton Ecology Initiative embraces the philosophy and practice of generativity — one generation helping the next. This commitment to environmental protection and “green living” is reflected through a wide range of endeavors that exemplify sustainable development, resource conservation and environmental protection.
