Frequently-asked Questions

Q. Are pets welcome?
Absolutely! We look forward to welcoming your pet. You must continue the full management and care for your pet and ensure that it does not disturb your neighbors. A pet deposit will be required to cover the expenses associated with the unexpected pet "mishaps". Pets are limited to one small dog or two indoor cats per unit.

Q. Is Ponté Palmero a gated community?
Yes, with two entrances to the property.

Q. Is there a limit to the number of guests I may invite for meals?
No. However, if you have a large number in your party, please coordinate with the food service supervisor or receptionist to ensure an enjoyable meal. The clubhouse also has a private dining room, available by reservation, which may accommodate your guests.

Q. What recreational opportunities are available?
We offer a wide range of recreational opportunities based on a resident's interest and physical abilities. Some examples are:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Physical fitness classes from water aerobics to chair exercise
  • Excursions
  • Events at fairgrounds
  • Trips to area shopping malls
  • Casino outings
  • Book clubs

Q. What amenities do I have access to if I am living in the duet cottages or the villas?
Residents who live in the duet cottages or villas have use of all the clubhouse amenities to include: the fitness center, pool/spa, library, manicures, pedicures and massages, walking paths through the 24-acre property, plus all the activities at the clubhouse.

Q. Does the community have an entry fee or will I actually own my duet cottage or villa?
No. The duet cottages and villas are only for lease, which means there is no "buy in" community fee or homeowners association dues.

Q. Are there designated parking spaces for apartment residents?
Yes. The duet cottages and villas have garages. Guest parking bays will be located throughout the community and there will be additional guest and staff parking near the clubhouse.

Q. What is the memory care center?
Our memory care center offers an encouraging, supportive, and secure environment for residents with memory loss. Each resident enjoys the privacy of a spacious room plus the use of the common areas, which includes a sunroom, living room, kitchen and dining areas. Each resident's room is personally identified with a customized shadow box just outside the door.

Q. What utilities are included with the duet cottages and villas?
All utilities are included in the monthly fee except for telephone.
