Social isolation affects the physical, mental and emotional well-being of older adults. Every day, Patricia, staff member, responds to concerns identified by volunteers who have talked with their assigned TLC participants. Whether it is calling emergency services for someone who is ill, following up with a client who is depressed, or asking a neighbor to check on someone who hasn't answered their phone, Patricia's day is full.
