California is the most senior-populated state in the nation.
Imagine a city where there are more seniors than there are children. For the first time ever, shifting demographics show this to be the case in Sacramento County in the not too distant future.

Like never before, the number of older adults living in the Sacramento region is extraordinary. Baby boomers are retiring in record numbers and want to sustain their independence for as long as possible, while at the same time, the increasing number of frail elderly are in need of more services. Equally troubling is the growing numbers of seniors living below the poverty line.

Eskaton Foundation is proactive and investing in what is seen as an
unprecedented need in our region. We believe no senior should be left behind.

As the largest nonprofit, community-based organization in the region serving seniors, Eskaton Foundation is proud to invite you to become a partner in enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

The Critical Role of Philanthropy
The Philanthropic Partner Program is designed to forge a strong partnership with businesses in the communities we serve in order to help them reach their target audience, engage their employees, deepen their relationship with customers, and meet their philanthropic goals. With a two-year commitment, businesses choose a partnership level that demonstrates their belief in investing in the community. By partnering with Eskaton Foundation, you play a big role in helping to meet the increasing needs of this region’s senior population.

Below are Eskaton’s programs that address critical areas of need:

  •  Affordable Housing Program — helping low-income seniors remain independent.

  •  Transportation — providing escorted transportation for home-bound, low-
      income seniors.

  •  Telephone Reassurance — Talking, listening and caring, a telephone      reassurance program making over 102,000 telephone calls annually to isolated      seniors.

  •  Intergenerational Program — providing young students and seniors a chance to      interact, socialize, and learn from each other.

  •  Where the Need is Greatest — directing your gift to be used for the most critical      needs.

Here's How It Works
Eskaton Foundation’s Philanthropic Partner Program is truly a working partnership that brings extensive value
to its corporate friends and, at the same time, the lives of seniors.

Your support of Eskaton Foundation’s Philanthropic Partner Program provides interesting, informative, and educational opportunities and widespread recognition in the community.

Your generosity meets the critical need of services for seniors — the largest growing population in our region.
