Local professionals lead participants through estate planning and related topics, e.g. why estate planning is essential for everyone; planning for disability; when to update your estate plan; pay zero capital gains taxes on appreciated stock and real estate; probate; what to do when your spouse dies, and more. Simple Ways to Protect Yourself from Fraud

Financial abuse is the fastest growing but often underreported form of elder abuse in the United States. This symposium will educate older adults about how to protect themselves. Representatives from the Office of Attorney General Kamala D. Harris and the financial literacy program at Wells Fargo will be speaking. Space is limited. Reservations are required.
