Anna Hart
Resident, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor (Colusa)
Leadership has always come naturally to Anna Hart, a resident at Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor. So, when she was asked by the mayor to participate on an ad hoc committee to oversee daycare facilities in the area, Hart jumped at the chance, having owned a licensed daycare in the area for many years. In her spare time, Anna spends time with her seven children. |

Marci Hale
Resident, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor (Colusa)
Marci Hale, a charismatic 75-year-old resident of Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor, earned the moniker “Second Hand Rose” for her love of yard sales. She also enjoys going to church and cooking for her fellow residents. Willing to poke fun at herself, she is quick to point out that she brushes her teeth “when (she) can find them.” The single mom raised six children (one of which worked with former vice president, Dick Cheney) and now enjoys her 13 great grandchildren.

Ken Hester
Resident, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor (Colusa)
Although 70-year-old Ken Hester is fairly new to Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor, he’s already become the hero of many of his fellow residents. Hester’s mission has been to capture ferrel cats from the area, which had been a nuisance to his neighbors. With his boyish charm and Huck Finn personality, it’s no surprise Hester is an avid fisherman. |

Dee Johnson
Resident, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor (Colusa)
The town of Colusa has enjoyed the company of Dee Johnson for the past 66 years. She relocated from Oklahoma when she was 20 years old and has lived there ever since. When Johnson decided to move into a senior community 12 years ago, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor was ideal. She notes, “I couldn’t live by myself out in the town, but here I feel safe.”

Lee Lamb
Resident, Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor (Colusa)
Lee Lamb likes to combine work and play. She moved into Eskaton Frank Jaconetti Manor in 1995 and volunteered to help coordinate resident activities. In 2003, she took on a bigger role and became part of the Eskaton staff. In addition to residing at the Manor, Lamb serves as campus patrol, answering all calls and ensuring her fellow residents remain safe. Lucky for us, she noted, “I probably won’t ever leave here.”
