The Livable Design National Demonstration Home and Livable Design By Eskaton are two powerful practical/promotional strategies as Eskaton endeavors to fast-forward the movement for older adults to live at home more comfortably, securely and affordably…for longer. QuietCare™ - Enhanced Resident Safety Program
Eskaton is introducing an innovative enhanced resident safety technology called QuietCare™ from Care Innovations, an Intel/GE company. The integration of QuietCare throughout Eskaton’s Lodge communities serves independent living, assisted living and memory care residents providing added peace of mind and enhanced wellbeing. The advanced motion sensor technology system is designed
to assist staff members to proactively identify potential emerging issues and provide timely and appropriate interventions.

eLiving
With Eskaton’s easy-to-use eLiving social connection website, residents, families and friends have the ability to stay connected with each other and the community through virtual visits, e-mail and access to monthly calendars, newsletters, virtual museum tours, brain fitness games, movies, audio books and more! Residents using the eLiving portal enjoy the one-touch access to all community events as well as secure access to connecting with their friends and family.

Livable Design Demonstration Home
The Livable Design Demonstration Home showcases universal, barrier-free design; assistive technologies; and energy efficiency – all in a real-life setting. This educational center shows how smart design and innovative technology allows older adults to age-in-place. The Demonstration Home is also a showpiece for the Livable Design by Eskaton program. Eskaton is actively involved with the California Culture Change Coalition and is actively transforming care centers into places that promote a more residential feel, along with promoting individual choices and increased relationship building among residents, staff and families. Cognitive Fitness: Dakim
The Dakim Brain Fitness system combines decades of brain health research aimed at preventing or delaying memory loss with enjoyable activities.
