  Resident of The Parkview at the San Francisco Giants Game.A 98-year-old resident at The Parkview in Pleasanton has been a baseball lover forever; her favorite player is Willie Mays. She discusses baseball every night with her grandson. We sent her in a limousine with her grandson to AT&T Park to see the champion San Francisco Giants on September 30.    
 
   
 

Girl Scouts help Eskaton Fulfill Lifelong Dream

   
  Resident celebrates her 100th birthday and also become a Girl ScoutHarriet Antonides, resident of Eskaton Village in Roseville, turned 100 years old on April 5, 2010, and as a new member of Eskaton’s centenarian club, she will be participating in their “Thrill of a Lifetime” program by becoming a Girl Scout, which
has been her lifelong dream.

“Harriet said she has always wanted to be a Girl Scout, but that it’s too late. I told her that I think the Girl Scouts might have something else to say about that. The Thrill of a Lifetime program is about making the seemingly impossible happen in the later years of life,” said Lisa McCurdy, director of resident services at Eskaton Village Roseville. >> Read more
