Supportive independence is the Eskaton philosophy attained through our practice of offering individual residents the services and levels of care needed to remain as independent as possible.

The Lodge at Eskaton Village Placerville features assisted living apartments, a memory care center, activities rooms, hair salon, spa, general store, and the restaurant-style dining room. All apartments and studios have a view of either the surrounding pine covered hills or one of our beautiful, landscaped courtyards.

Independent Living - The Lodge's independent living offers residents an array of service choices, including dining options, wellness and social programs, a business center, lifelong learning classes, and of course healthcare and other support as needed. We recognize that your pet is part of your family and is welcome. (Size restrictions apply)

Assisted Living - The Lodge's assisted living provides residents with support for everyday living tasks and healthcare, as well as dining, housekeeping, transportation, exercise and social programs.

Memory Care - The Memory Care Center is designed to offer a supportive and secure environment for individuals with memory impairments. The Lodge's home-like setting and specially trained staff represent Eskaton's commitment to dignity and quality of living for all residents.

Memory Care wing features:
•  Private rooms in small clusters with shared common areas (dining, recreation,    etc
•  24-hour personal assistance with bathing, dressing and grooming
•  Medical management
•  Bedside care and tray service for minor, temporary illness or recovery from    surgery
•  Recreation and social programs tailored for memory impairment
•  Enhanced security system
•  Emergency alert/response system

Respite Care - Respite Care provides the option of short-term support for older adults and caregivers. Meals, activities and around-the-clock supervision are included.

Freedom From Maintenance: Eskaton Village Placerville is maintained by Eskaton and the Eskaton-managed homeowners association. Residents need not be concerned with landscaping, lawn care or exterior home maintenance and repairs.

Service-rich Retirement Community and Home Ownership: Independent living with enhanced services is provided in the lodge while home ownership is available in patio homes with condominiums planned for the future. An Eskaton-managed homeowners association provides grounds and exterior home maintenance, emergency response, on-site shuttle, community center with recreation/fitness program coordination, heated indoor pool and spa, Bistro and planned activities. Scheduled offsite transportation is also available, as well as restaurant-style dining and other optional services. Many services are offered through the lodge.

Health and Fitness: The Community Center, now under construction, will house the heated indoor swimming pool for year-round water aerobics and lap swimming and a warm-water spa. Space will be available for yoga, low-impact aerobics and Tai Chi. Exercise equipment will also be provided for individual work-outs. A bistro, living room and meeting rooms will make this the perfect place to relax and socialize.
