Over the next few years, it will become possible to offer to homeowners in the Eskaton Village Roseville community some of the safety and security services, social benefits, and conveniences that Eskaton delivers to residents of their assisted living communities. Sensors inside the home, much like those used for security systems today, will be able to help ensure resident health and safety. Electronic access to Eskaton services will make it easier to participate in social events, take advantage of transportation services, and request home maintenance services.

To prepare for these new capabilities, homes in the Eskaton Village Roseville community have been prewired to make it easy to install basic sensors and display screens throughout the home. A high speed network links all of the homes in the community to the central Lodge and to the Internet.
