Office Work

If you would enjoy spending time with motivated Foundation staff and learning about our programs behind the scenes, we have a number of volunteer opportunities in our administrative office. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, we are able to send letters to thousands of people – some of whom will respond with donations to help seniors. Volunteers also help with unusual office projects that range from tieing bows on holiday packages to organizing raffle items. We appreciate the creativity and unique talents of each of our volunteers!

Data Entry

Only a couple of decades ago, professional fundraisers tracked contact information for their donors and prospects on index cards. Today, thank goodness, we rely completely on our computerized database. If you appreciate accuracy and a sense of detail, you may enjoy data entry. We provide ample training to ensure our volunteers feel confident. The information entered into the computer is pulled for mailing lists and reports, and is a critical function of our fundraising efforts to help seniors.

Swing for Seniors Golf Classic

This annual tournament is Eskaton Foundation’s signature event and is not only an important fundraiser but also a great opportunity to spread the word about our mission. The event is volunteer-driven and runs like clockwork each year, so if you want to be part of a dynamic team, our planning committee is for you. We also rely on volunteers the day of the event to provide first-class service. From driving the beverage cart to registering participants, there is a range of fun opportunities in the sunshine. Our next tournament will take place on September 26, 2011.
