Short-term stays of two weeks or more are available at multiple Eskaton communities in the Sacramento and Northern California areas. Often a welcome and healthy option within the family caregivers’ support system, these temporary or transitional stays also offer guests the opportunity to experience the comprehensive services, amenities and life enrichment programs enjoyed by residents. Available services vary, depending on level of care, but all include nutritious meals, around-the-clock staffing and engaging social interaction.
Around-the-clock skilled nursing, restorative therapy, personal care and mindful interaction contribute to residents’ physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
Supportive short-term stays are also available to caregiving families. Our innovative programs and professional, multidisciplinary teams provide a holistic, person-centered healing environment to those on the road to recovery as well as for individuals needing long-term care. .
For older adults with limited incomes, rental assistance is offered through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and other public agencies at most of Eskaton’s Manor locations. Professional on-site staff provides support, opportunities for social engagement, maintenance, security, and social service coordination in an independent setting. Also, depending on the requirements of specific Eskaton communities, individuals with mobility impairments (who are 18 years of age or older) may qualify for specially designed and accessible apartments.
