Todd Murch

Todd Murch is Eskaton's President and Chief Executive Officer. He assumed the organization's leadership role in 2005. Prior to this position, he served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer. He is a 34-year professional in aging services -- experienced in strategic planning, project financing, operations and governance. Murch is past Chair of LeadingAging California, a member of Leading Age, Chief Executives of Multi-Home Organizations (CEMO) and President and Board Chair of The Institute for Senior Living. He is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento and Stanford University's Executive Program.  Contact: Todd Murch

Mark Jenkins

Mark Jenkins is Eskaton’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jenkins comes to Eskaton with an excellent track record of accounting, auditing and managing a growing portfolio of services within nonprofit organizations. Initially with experience as Senior Associate with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and then eight successful years at VSP Vision Care in Sacramento. Mark is a licensed CPA, and he brings a diverse set of skills to Eskaton as we strategically grow our Northern California footprint. An alumni of California State University Sacramento and well-connected in the finance industry, Mark brings a strong commitment to professional services and managing multiple partnerships. Betsy Donovan

Betsy Donovan is Eskaton's Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for the core operations of the organization. Her previous role was Executive Director of the Eskaton Village Carmichael, a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Donovan is a 30-year veteran in the field of senior care. Her experience encompasses various positions in aging services and mental health. She is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with a degree in Recreation Therapy, and St. Mary’s College with a Masters of Science in Health Care Administration. Also, Donovan is a graduate of the national LeadingAge Leadership Fellow program, based in Washington, D.C. and is a board member of California Assisted Living Association (CALA). Her passion for service to the community is further reflected through her role as founding board member of the Lazarus Project, Inc., which provides housing and support services to individuals living in poverty in Placer County and founding board member for Meals On Wheels by ACC in Sacramento. Sheri Peifer

Sheri Peifer, MSG, is Eskaton's Chief Strategy Officer. She collaboratively works with healthcare, technology, academic and business partners to lead Eskaton’s forward-thinking approaches aimed at positively transforming the aging experience. Peifer and her team focus on establishing integrated service and care networks for the over 14,000 older adults Eskaton serves today. Expanding how Eskaton rethinks and packages services for people living at home is a vital initiative. Ms. Peifer serves on the Editorial Advisory Board for the book series Leading Principles and Practices in Elder Care and participates on the LeadingAge California Planning and EMERGE Leadership Selection Committees. She is a graduate of the national LeadingAge Leadership Fellow program, based in Washington D.C. Ms. Peifer holds a BA from Messiah College in Pennsylvania and a MS in Gerontology and Education from California State University, Sacramento. Robert Brandi

Robert Brandi is Eskaton's Vice President of Healthcare Services. Robert has responsibility over skilled nursing operations for Eskaton. Robert comes to Eskaton with over 15 years of sub-acute, skilled nursing and physician practice management experience. His expertise include multi-site, inpatient/outpatient operations, strategic market analysis as well as mergers and acquisitions. Robert earned a B.A. degree from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. Robert is a member of CAHF, AHCA, and American College of Healthcare Executives. Robert and his wife Becca enjoy skiing, traveling and all that comes with raising four children. Contact: Robert Brandi

Tighe Hammam

Tighe Hammam, Vice President of Residential Services. Mr. Hammam oversees the operations of the Eskaton independent, assisted and memory care Lodge communities ensuring excellent residential living services and compliance with regulations that govern residential care communities in California. Serving as Assistant Executive Director at Eskaton Village Carmichael since 2015, Tighe was the licensed nursing home administrator and RCFE administrator overseeing skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care. In 2019, he was awarded the prestigious American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award where only 7% of care communities nationwide were qualified. He holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. In his free time, Tighe enjoys spending time with his wife and four legged kids and playing golf. Charles Garcia

Charles Garcia is Eskaton's Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of all Eskaton’s IT systems and electronic needs. Garcia joined Eskaton in April 2002 and has held several other positions including network manager and director of information technology. Prior to Eskaton, he worked with several multi-national companies, including Hewlett Packard, 3Com and Northrop Grumman.   Contact: Charles Garcia


Cathy Sailor

Cathy Sailor is Eskaton's Vice President, Affordable Housing. She oversees the operations of the Affordable Housing communities. Cathy assures quality and compliance with current federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations that govern the subsidized housing programs. She has been with Eskaton since 1987. She holds Associates of Arts Degrees from Cosumnes River College and American River College. Cathy is a Registered Housing Manager through the National Center of Housing Management and is a graduate of the national LeadingAge Leadership Fellow program, based in Washington, D.C.   Contact: Cathy Sailor

Erin Scherer

Erin Scherer is Eskaton's Executive Director, Capital Asset Management and joined the organization in 2008. Erin and her team are responsible for capital planning and budgeting as well as project management with construction and design for Eskaton’s 30+ locations throughout Northern California. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist through the National Association of Home Builders. Erin has presented at conferences around the nation including DWELL on Design and Leading Age California. She has also been a guest speaker for the gerontology programs at American River College and California State University, Sacramento.   Contact: Erin Scherer

Trish Bayless

Trish Bayless is Eskaton's Director of Human Resources. She is responsible for planning and implementing Eskaton's Human Resource policies and programs. Trish joined Eskaton in December 2003 previously holding Benefits Administration and Human Resources Generalist positions for over 12 years. Trish’s role is to guide and manage the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the company, ensuring compliance with all state, federal and local laws, and company policies. Her responsibilities include management and oversight of compensation and benefits administration, LOA administration, employee relations, recruitment, training, development of Human Resources policies, and management development. Trish held the HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification for ten years and currently holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification since 2012 as well as the SHRM-SCP, Senior Certified Professional certification.  Contact: Trish Bayless

Teri Tift

Teri Tift is Eskaton’s Executive Director of Quality and Compliance. She leads a team of professionals, who are responsible for quality assurance, performance improvement activities across the organization. Teri joined Eskaton in 2000 after extensive experience in aging services, including Director of Nurses in a skilled nursing community. Teri holds a BS in Nursing, an MS in Nursing with a Nurse Educator role emphasis, a post-graduate certificate in gerontology, and a Doctor of Health Administration degree. In addition to extensive education and training in geriatrics and gerontology, Teri possesses a solid knowledge base of practical hands-on experience in post-acute care settings. She is a graduate of the national Leading Age Leadership Fellow Program, an ANCC certified Gerontological Registered Nurse, and part-time Faculty at California State University Sacramento.  Contact: Teri Tift

Monica Sandgathe

Monica Sandgathe is Eskaton's Executive Assistant to the President/CEO and the Board of Directors. With over 30 years working in the non-profit senior services industry, Monica has direct oversite in coordinating meetings and events for Eskaton members and Board of Directors. She is also a Certified Wellness Program Manager and has responsibility for Eskaton’s award winning Employee Wellness Program which reaches over 1,600 employees. Monica attended College of San Mateo and received her Wellness Certifications from Chapman Institute.   Contact: Monica Sandgathe
